Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young students, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development. This role requires a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and curriculum development, with a focus on supporting diverse learning needs.
Duties
- Develop and/or implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, and science
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs
- Utilize various teaching methods, to enhance student learning experiences
- Incorporate special education strategies and work with students with autism or other learning differences
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports
- Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, including classroom experience or childcare roles
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Experience working with students with special needs or in inclusive classrooms is preferred
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff
- Background in literacy education, math instruction, or childhood development is desirable
- Prior experience working in early childhood settings is advantageous
Pay: $150.00 - $175.00 per day
