What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler 1st Shift position at Valley Staffing?
Shift: 7AM-7PM (Rotating 12-hour Shifts)
Pay: $15.00 per hour
PIV test offered and could potentially receive $1.50 raise if you pass.
Responsible for using a forklift, and a clamp truck to manually move freight, stock or other materials and/or perform other general labor as required.
Must keep clean work area and comply with production needs.
Must be able to prioritize work according to instruction from lead.
High school diploma or GED not required.
Must be able to lift and pull 35 lbs. on occasion and stand for extended periods of time
Material Handlers may drive in confined spaces from time to time
Material Handlers do not sit down the entire shift, and they may be required to move materials on and off the machines.
Forklift experience preferred.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
MH will receive $1.50Hr raise after 30-day evaluation is complete and they pass. 30-day evaluation depends on performance.
