Schedule: Mountain View Unit, 10:00am - 4:00pm Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30am - 5:00pm Thursday

Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital offers compassionate, high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment for teens, adults, and seniors. We provide a full-range of evidence-based medical and clinical services in a state-of-the-art healing environment. Programs include inpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).
How you’ll contribute
The Vocational and Unlicensed Recreational Therapist is responsible for developing and implementing education and community outreach initiatives to increase awareness and utilization of rehabilitation services. This role supports program growth, quality improvement, and overall productivity through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The incumbent serves as a resource with knowledge of acute rehabilitation practices and contributes to program development and patient identification efforts.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should have
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- At a minimum, should be a graduate of a four (4) year college program with a bachelor’s degree in a health related, business or marketing area of concentration, nursing or therapy preferred.
- Applicable and current clinical license to practice in accordance with the state.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation required.
- Clinical experience is required.
- A track record of successful experience in a health care setting, strong interpersonal skills, and experience working with physicians, nursing management, discharge planners, case managers, and social workers.

We provide evidence-based mental health care, including programs for child/adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. Our treatment is built on a psychosocial model of care and follows the core principles of resilience, recovery and restoration.
Hourly range: $18.50 – $29.50 per hour
