Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Clinician at Valley Spring Recovery Center. As a Clinician, you will provide direct therapy services to clients, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized treatment plans. Additional responsibilities include conducting assessments, facilitating group therapy, and engaging individuals in evidence-based practices. The role is based in Norwood, NJ, with the flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in individual therapy, group therapy, and client assessments
- Experience with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based practices
- Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and empathy
- Understanding of addiction recovery, mental health conditions, and holistic treatment approaches
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Licensed in New Jersey and/or New York as an LSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent is required
- Experience working in addiction recovery or mental health settings is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage documentation and reports
