Role Description The Vinyl Installer is a full-time, on-site role based in Orting, WA. This role involves preparing surfaces, measuring and cutting vinyl, and installing vinyl graphics on a variety of substrates, including vehicles, windows, walls, and sign panels. This role also includes running RIP software and printing, laminating, weeding and prepping vinyl films. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting job layouts, operating basic hand tools and equipment, and ensuring accurate, clean application of vinyl with attention to detail and safety. The Vinyl Installer will collaborate with production staff, maintain a well-organized work area, and assist with occasional sign fabrication and finishing as needed. The role may include lifting, standing, and working with ladders or scaffolding to complete installations on-site or at client locations.

Qualifications
- Vinyl certification from 3M, Avery, or Oracal preferred.
- Hands-on experience or strong aptitude in vinyl installation, including measuring, cutting, weeding, and applying vinyl graphics without bubbles or creases.
- Proficiency using hand tools and shop equipment such as knives, squeegees, tape measures, heat guns, and application tools in a safe, controlled manner.
- Ability to read and follow work proofs, layouts, and design specifications, with solid basic math and spatial measurement skills.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and ability to identify and correct imperfections in materials or installations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with design, production, and installation staff.
- Physical ability to lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, and work on ladders or elevated surfaces while following safety practices.
- Reliable time management, punctuality, and capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for travel to on-site installations is preferred.
- Previous experience in sign making, automotive wrap installation, or related trades is beneficial but not required.
