Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing, waxing, and buffing to maintain optimal appearance
- Manage janitorial duties such as waste disposal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment
- Assist with outdoor work tasks like sweeping walkways or maintaining entryways to ensure a tidy exterior environment
- Practice proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to ensure safety
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial settings preferred
- Experience with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing highly desirable
- Background in hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry is a plus
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and proper cleaning procedures required
- Hands-on experience with laundry services and outdoor maintenance tasks is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with precision
