JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
Under general supervision, responsible for activities to control and maintain the Customer's documentation and to prepare, control and maintain VSE's manufacturing documentation for the manufacture of customers' products.
Activities
- Receive, organize, review and control all customer supplied documentation (BOM's, drawings, specifications, lists, procedures, files, etc).
- Enter, maintain and control VSE required VISUAL manufacturing information system.
- Prepare, organize and maintain assembly manufacturing folders for each customer's products, all obsolete documentation and all artwork and fab documentation.
- Reproduce and Issue documents to support production activities.
- Maintain the ECO/Revision documentation process.
- Some interfacing with customers.
- Files other documentation as required.
- Other activities as conditions require.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma. 1 - 2 years experience in document control, or related experience in an MRP environment in the electronics industry.
- Must be highly dependable with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret documents is required.
- ISO-9000 experience desirable.
- Good communications skills.
- Basic PC skills in EXCEL and WORD.
