School Bus Driver

Location: Ligonier, PA
Job Type: Full-Time / Full-Day Availability
Pay: $30.00 per hour benefits
Valley School of Ligonier is seeking a dependable, safety-focused School Bus Driver with full-day availability to safely transport students to and from school, field trips, athletic events, and other school activities.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes.
- Transport students according to established schedules.
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and orderly environment for students.
- Follow all Pennsylvania laws, regulations, and school policies.
- Communicate promptly regarding delays, incidents, or safety concerns.
- Attend required training and safety meetings.
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania CDL with School Bus (S), Passenger (P) and Air Brake endorsements, and / or willingness to obtain required credentials.
- Meet applicable Pennsylvania school bus driver requirements and clearances.
- Safe and responsible driving record.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work professionally and positively with students, families, and school staff.
- Previous school bus or commercial driving experience preferred.
