Shipping and Packaging Supervisor
Department: Shipping
Reports to: Shipping Manager

Job Goal:
The Shipping and Packaging Supervisor coordinates activities of workers responsible for packaging
products and preparing them for shipping both locally and internationally.
In addition, it is the responsibility and goal of all employees at Valley Rubber to live and
implement the vision and mission of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify work procedures; prepare work schedules and expedite workflow.
• Issue written and oral instruction to the shipping floor.
• Standardize procedures to ensure efficiency of workers.
• Ensure correct shipment of orders.
• Assist employees with packaging and shipping issues.
• Ensure materials shipped match records, manifests, invoices, or orders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 
  Highschool degree or equivalent, and one year of related experience and/or training in the field.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Performance Management.
• Technical Capacity.
• Time Management.
• Excellent Organizational Skills.

Working Conditions:

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required
by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Must be available for overtime and work weekends when necessary.

Salary : $23 - $26
