A respected, multi-program nonprofit organization in SE Washington with 230 team members is seeking a dynamic Executive Director to lead our mission and guide the organization into its next phase of growth and impact.
Our organization provides vital services that strengthen lives and communities, including:
- Supported Living services for adults with developmental disabilities (currently 65 clients)
- Housing and support for homeless veterans (can serve up to 37)
- Visitation and parent instruction programs for families involved with the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) (25-50 families at any given time)
The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, support a dedicated staff team, strengthen community partnerships, and ensure high-quality services across all programs.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Leadership experience in non-profit or human services organizations
- Strong organizational and financial management skills
- Ability to collaborate with the board and community partners
- A commitment to staff/culture development
- A commitment to serving vulnerable populations
Education: BA or BS degree required, with MA/MS degree preferred.
Experience: At least five years’ experience in a social services/business field required. At least two years’ Senior Management experience required.
At least two years’ experience and success in working with a Board in a Non-Profit Organization preferred.
Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package based on experience.
Salary range: $120,000-$140,000
