Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a full-time Dayshift Activity Assistant 12p-8p , to join our team. The ideal candidates must be devoted and compassionate about their chosen career. Activity Assistant will have experience working with individuals with dementia, have a highly enthusiastic personality, and be able to develop creative activities for our residents!
Responsibilities of Activity Assistant:
Conducts and/or assists with assignments and assigned activity groups
One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
Provides input and assistance with activity planning
Escort residents to and from activities
Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
Qualifications of Activity Assistant:
Experience is preferred
High School Graduate or GED
