We’re seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to oversee service operations for a well-established heavy equipment company. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who understands construction equipment, service departments, and field/shop operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day shop and field service operations
- Lead, schedule, and support service technicians
- Help troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues
- Manage workflow, turnaround times, and customer service
- Monitor department efficiency, safety, and profitability
Qualifications:
- Construction industry background required
- Must be mechanically inclined with strong knowledge of heavy equipment
- Experience with construction equipment, diesel equipment, or heavy machinery strongly preferred
- Previous service management, shop management, or equipment operations experience preferred
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Salary: $90,000-$130,000 DOE, plus benefits.
