Responsibilities
- Assist patients checking in for surgery
- Audit charts for completeness
- Assist in turning over preop and recovery beds
- Assist patients being discharged home
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Basic understanding of medical procedures
- Experience working in a clinic, urgent care, or or other healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is required
- Knowledge of patient assessment preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
