Duties
- Manage all aspects of the retirement home’s operations, including staff supervision, resident services, and facility maintenance
- Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, health policies, and safety standards.
- Lead recruitment, training, and supervision of care teams to promote high-quality service delivery and staff development
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate medication administration, nursing services.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere by promoting resident rights, engagement activities, and family communication
Experience
- Proven management experience within nursing homes or senior living facilities with a focus on assisted living or long-term care environments
- Demonstrated ability to develop care plans tailored to individual needs while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in residential or home & community care settings
- Familiarity with long-term care regulations, healthcare policies, and disability services standards
