What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Maintenance Specialist position at Valley Pacific Petroleum Services?
Valley Pacific is looking for a Retail Maintenance Specialist working a 1:30 PM-10:00 PM shift at our Santa Maria location. The ideal candidate will help with the maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of the facility.
Qualifications:Key Responsibilities:
- Works safely and helps others work safely.
- Does his/her part in ensuring a high score on Customer First (uniform, name tag, customer interaction, smile).
- Is responsible and has good attendance.
- Assists station manager in maintaining appearance of station at “Customer First” level.
- Effectively run and troubleshoot all equipment located at retail stores.
- Assists station manager to ensure that customers and retail employees are not exposed to situations that are physically dangerous.
- Carries out specific assignments as directed by the station manager.
- Able and willing to respond to urgent or unusual situations.
- Can multi-task and prioritize workday schedule.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and team building skills.
- Experienced in running small equipment such as a power washer, blower, and weed eater
- Has experience in landscaping.
- Clearly communicates with station manager and co-workers.
- Driven and energetic.
- Personally well-liked and trusted.
- Can perform job responsibilities without supervision.
- Cooperative and open-minded.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay range from $18.00-$20.00 per hour
