What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Valley Orthopaedic Specialists?
Busy Orthopaedic practice is looking to add a full-time medical receptionist to the team. Duties include heavy phone volume, patient scheduling and intake, insurance eligibility, call routing, faxing, scanning and general customer service. The position would require some travel to the satellite office in Oxford as needed for office coverage.
Prior medical office experience with Electronic Health Record/Electronic Scheduling system required (minimum 1 year required). Ideal candidate must be able to type 40 WPM, multitask, have excellent verbal, written and customer service skills. Benefits include Health and Dental insurance, 401K, PTO plan, and Life Insurance.
