Looking for a role that provides an opportunity to lead and strengthen high-quality early childhood programs within a public school CPPI partnership while supporting educators, families, and young children across multiple sites? General Description:The HPS Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the CPPI (Commonwealth Preschool Partnership Initiative) partnership between VOC and Holyoke Public Schools (HPS). This role provides leadership and oversight to Center Directors across HPS program sites while coordinating the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality early childhood programs. The Partnership Manager works collaboratively with HPS administration, staff, and community partners to ensure strong relationships, program quality, regulatory compliance, and full enrollment across all sites.
Key Responsibilities Program Leadership and Quality
- Develop and maintain high-quality early childhood classrooms and educational programming within Holyoke Public Schools sites.
- Observe classrooms regularly and provide feedback to Center Directors to support continuous program improvement.
- Support staff in curriculum implementation, individualized learning plans, and ongoing child assessments.
- Lead and support efforts for NAEYC renewal at all program sites.
- Plan and coordinate professional development opportunities for program staff.
Staff Supervision and Coaching
- Provide direct supervision and support to Center Directors at HPS sites.
- Conduct weekly supervision meetings with Center Directors.
- Complete annual performance evaluations and support goal setting and professional growth.
- Monitor progress toward goals and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Program Operations and Compliance
- Maintain a regular schedule of visits to all program sites.
- Complete monitoring reports required by EEC and Holyoke Public Schools.
- Conduct CACFP monitoring reviews three times per year.
- Attend relevant local and statewide meetings related to early childhood programming and partnerships.
- Provide interim leadership support by covering vacant Director positions when needed to maintain program operations.
Partnership and Collaboration
- Work closely with Holyoke Public Schools administration and staff to support program success.
- Coordinate collaborative programming involving HPS sites and external partners.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with school partners and community organizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related field.
- Experience in early childhood program administration or leadership with EEC Director 1 certified
- Experience supervising staff and supporting professional development.
- Knowledge of EEC licensing regulations and NAEYC accreditation standards preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with school partners and community stakeholders.
Schedule and Work Environment
- Regular travel between Holyoke Public School program sites is required.
- Weekly on-site program visits and meetings with Center Directors.
- Occasional evening meetings or professional development events may be required.
Pay: $28.00 per hour
