Field Technician - Printer and Copier

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Printer / Copier Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of office equipment or other similar mechanical systems. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude. On the job training is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair Printers, Copiers, Scanners, and related business office equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on same.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on the proper use of Multi Function Printers.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technology and advancements in the copier industry.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a copier technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of copy machine mechanics and electronics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience setting up print drivers on common desktop computer operating systems is highly valuable.
• Previous experience in a technology support role is a bonus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
