Customer Service Representative for Non Profit Vet Clinic

Valley Oak SPCA is a non-profit no-kill rescue organization. This job posting is for our Veterinary Clinic Department.

We are looking to fill a part-time position for our front desk.

The position has the following requirements:

• Experience in the veterinary field and knowledge of veterinary products will be given priority consideration for this position
• Must be bilingual (Spanish)
• Computer-Literate is a must
• Available to work Saturdays
• Available to work until 8:30pm once a week
• Not apprehensive of cats or dogs

Responsibilities:

• Always operate with the highest degree of urgency and care; remembering we are the face for our clients and the services we provide to them and their pets.
• Be a problem solver and find creative solutions to issues
• Handle all clerical duties of a front desk. Including but not limited to answering phones, responding to emails, collecting payment for services and products given, scheduling appointments and managing our busy calendar, assisting clients with all their needs and being an animal advocate at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must have organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service in the office
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be highly motivated, be willing to take initiative, have a positive attitude and exhibit a strong work ethic
• Must show the ability to engage and interact with individuals in a professional manner
