Express Lube Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform oil and filter changes and other routine maintenance services

• Complete thorough multi-point vehicle inspections

• Use photos and videos to clearly document vehicle condition and recommended maintenance

• Inspect tires, brakes, fluids, filters, batteries, wipers, and other basic maintenance items

• Perform tire rotations and other approved express maintenance services

• Safely operate lifts, power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools

• Communicate vehicle concerns and inspection findings clearly with Service Advisors

• Work closely with other technicians and advisors to maintain an efficient workflow

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Follow dealership and manufacturer service procedures

• Provide a high level of care for every guest vehicle

• Complete additional duties as assigned by service department leadership

REQUIREMENTS

• Interest in automotive maintenance and repair

• Willingness and ability to learn new technology, service procedures, and vehicle specifications

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment

• Basic computer and technology skills

• Ability to safely operate shop equipment and electronic inspection tools

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic

• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Automotive experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who is dependable, motivated, and interested in building a career in the automotive industry.
