Our busy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership is looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our service team. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles
- Conduct routine services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake work, and inspections
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using factory and diagnostic tools
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Communicate findings and recommend repairs with service advisors
- Follow dealership and manufacturer service procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive technology a plus but not necessary
Qualifications:
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- ASE Certifications or manufacturer certifications are a plus (but not required for entry-level candidates)
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (no dui's, no speeding tickets 20mph over posted speed limit)
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen for substances illegal in the state of Ohio
