Valley Medical Group is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team and work in our Ambulatory Surgery and Procedure Center located at our Amherst Medical Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity!

Position: Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery and Procedure Center (ASPC)
Location: Amherst, MA
Hours: Per Diem, Monday - Friday generally between 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.
The ASPC RN will work collaboratively with the GI physician and follow established clinical guidelines to provide patient care in our dynamic and fast paced outpatient Endoscopy unit. The RN will be responsible for all aspects of care for pre-, intra- and post-op endoscopy patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Physical and telephone assessment
- IV placement
- Telemetry
- Assist GI Physicians pre-, intra-, and post-op
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as RN in the state of Massachusetts.
- BLS & ACLS certified.
- Familiarity with EMRs (Athena experience a plus)
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- IV experience a plus
- Endoscopy, Ambulatory Surgery, ER, OR, ICU/CCU, or PACU experience a plus
