- The Service Counter Clerk at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by efficiently handling transactions, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role involves maintaining the service counter's operations, processing returns and exchanges, and upholding store policies to enhance customer satisfaction. Must be 18 years or older to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries and needs.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and efficiently.
- Answer customer questions and provide information about products and services.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and work towards resolving issues.
- Assist with special orders, rain checks, or store credits as needed.
- Operate POS systems to process transactions and verify receipts, documentation, or identification when required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service counter area.
- Follow store policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to facilitate smooth operations.
