Job Responsibilities for Occupational Therapist Assistant:
- Follows Occupational Therapist's and or Supervisor's patients’ plan of care.
- Provides skilled services and interventions using various techniques needed to achieve patients’ goals.
- Follows all regulations and guidelines of the facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
- Adheres to discussed scheduled hours and conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times.
- Provides skilled documentation of patient’s condition, and provides caregiver/patient education, progress, and need for services.
- Ensures safe treatment practices and monitors patients’ engagement and responses to treatment modifies as necessary.
Requirements for Occupational Therapist Assistant:
- Valid PA professional license
- Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Experience with rehab optima and skilled nursing facilities preferred
