Job description:
Valley Lo Club, a private country club located in Glenview, IL, is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team! Valley Lo offers fitness, sports lessons and leagues, an 18-hole executive golf course, dining, events, and numerous other activities to our members. Massage Therapy is one of our valued services, and we are looking for a dependable and experienced Massage Therapist to join our team!
An ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Perform numerous massage modalities and be able to adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer. General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans for pain management and relaxation.
- Therapist must be capable of delivering on-site table and/or massage in a private setting. Set-up and tear down will be dependent on other club functions and events.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and services.
- Must function as an active member of the fitness staff and support club-wide events and strategies.
- Provide exceptional patient service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Shifts Needed:
- Thursday and/or Friday Morning Shift(s): 9:00AM - 3:00PM
- Saturday and/or Sunday: Hours Flexible and Open
Job Requirements:
- Massage Therapy License for the state of Illinois required.
- Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) required.
- AED, CPR and First Aid Certified preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of massage therapy experience required.
- Great communication skills; listening and verbal.
- Responsible and reliable.

- Our membership is comprised of active families and adults. Experience working with sports-related (racquets, golf, endurance athletes) injuries is a bonus!
