Duties
- Retrieve prepared dishes from the kitchen, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met before delivery
- Deliver food swiftly and courteously to guests’ tables, maintaining a lively and professional demeanor
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff about order status or special requests using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Assist with food prep tasks when needed, including plating or portioning ingredients to support kitchen operations
- Buss tables by clearing used dishes and maintaining a clean dining area to enhance guest comfort
- Support the restaurant team during busy periods by helping with food handling, setup, or other service duties
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed during all stages of food handling and delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and proper sanitation practices
