Role Description The Production Worker/Welder role is a full-time, on-site position based at Valley Joist Deck’s facility in Fernley, NV.
This role involves fabricating and welding steel joist and deck components according to engineering specifications, using appropriate welding processes and shop equipment.
Daily tasks include rigging and welding, measuring and cutting materials, operating machinery, and assembling products to meet quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- We will train you on the job!!!
- Welding experience is a plus but NOT NECESSARY
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Attention to detail and quality, follow established quality standards and procedures.
- Reliability and teamwork, including consistent attendance, effective communication with supervisors and coworkers, and willingness to support various production tasks as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials as required, and work in a fast-paced, industrial setting
