About The Role
The welder will design, cut and permanently join metal parts together through the application of appropriate welding techniques.
What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques.
- Weld metal components together using various welding techniques, mainly basic mig/stick welding skills with strong attention to deal.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Work independently to complete assigned tasks.
- Education: Welding training/certification; High school diploma/GED
- Experience: Ability to read blueprints and general carpentry skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and maintain production quality.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team and work a set schedule.
- Must be willing to join the carpenters’ union and pass drug screen
- Centrally located just west of downtown Cincinnati
- Schedule: Monday- Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm
