Clinical Laboratory Supervisor - High Complexity Lab

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This role is critical in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of our high-complexity clinical laboratory. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of laboratory practices and regulations. Job Responsibilities

The Clinical Laboratory Supervisor will oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of laboratory personnel to ensure high-quality testing and timely results.
• Ensuring all laboratory procedures comply with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining laboratory policies and procedures.
• Managing laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining equipment.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing ongoing training and development for laboratory staff.
• Collaborating with other departments to support patient care and laboratory services.
• Analyzing laboratory data and metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and records for all laboratory activities.

Job Requirements:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years direct experience in CLIA high complexity laboratory testing.
• On site full-time and located within commutable distance to the lab

Preferred

• Experience in laboratory supervision, staff management, and compliance monitoring
• Proficiency in molecular lab testing, quality control, and improvement efforts
• Knowledge of maintaining lab equipment and managing lab supplies

Pay Range:

• $70,000 - $100,000 per year, DOE
