Job Responsibilities
The Clinical Laboratory Supervisor will oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of laboratory personnel to ensure high-quality testing and timely results.
- Ensuring all laboratory procedures comply with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining laboratory policies and procedures.
- Managing laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining equipment.
- Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing ongoing training and development for laboratory staff.
- Collaborating with other departments to support patient care and laboratory services.
- Analyzing laboratory data and metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records for all laboratory activities.
Job Requirements:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years direct experience in CLIA high complexity laboratory testing.
- On site full-time and located within commutable distance to the lab
Preferred
- Experience in laboratory supervision, staff management, and compliance monitoring
- Proficiency in molecular lab testing, quality control, and improvement efforts
- Knowledge of maintaining lab equipment and managing lab supplies

- $70,000 - $100,000 per year, DOE
