Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, month-end and
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, and banking
- Ensure timely and accurate sales tax, occupancy tax, and other regulatory filings.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial information and supporting schedules for income
- Monitor and manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and asset management
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for multiple entities.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to ownership and executive
- Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
- Assist with audits, financial reviews, and lender reporting requirements.
- Support acquisition, development, and property management accounting functions as
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company
- Perform additional accounting and financial management duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience.
- Demonstrated work history showing increasing levels of responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation, budgeting, payroll, accounts
- Experience managing multiple entities and complex accounting operations.
- Proven leadership and staff management experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Professional references required.
- CPA designation.
- Experience with Sage
- Experience in hospitality, restaurant, real estate, or property management accounting.
- Experience with multi-entity financial reporting and consolidations.
