POSITION SUMMARY
The Registrar is responsible for student enrollment, attendance, records management, and state reporting while providing exceptional customer service to students, families, staff, and community members. The Registrar ensures the accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance of all student records in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in clerical, administrative, data entry, or customer service experience, preferably in an educational setting.
- Proficiency with student information systems, Microsoft Office applications, and spreadsheet software.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with accuracy.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of office procedures, recordkeeping practices, and customer service principles.
- Knowledge of student information systems and data management.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and meet reporting deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process student registrations, enrollments, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Verify and maintain required enrollment documentation, including residency, immunization, birth, guardianship, and other state-required records.
- Maintain accurate student records and data within the district's Student Information System.
- Manage attendance records, monitor attendance concerns, and generate required attendance reports and correspondence.
- Compile, verify, and maintain student data required for district and state reporting, including Arizona Department of Education reporting requirements.
- Scan, upload, organize, and maintain electronic and cumulative student records.
- Process records requests and ensure compliance with FERPA and district policies regarding confidentiality.
- Assist with report cards, honor roll reports, student schedules, and other academic records as assigned.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for enrollment and registration inquiries, providing professional assistance to students, families, staff, and community members.
- Collaborate with school, district departments and Juvenile Court regarding student records, enrollment, attendance, and student services.
- Assist with school tours and enrollment support for prospective families as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Administrator.

Work year, salary, and benefits shall be established by the Governing Board.
EVALUATION
Performance of this position shall be evaluated by the Building Administrator in accordance with Governing Board policies and procedures.
