VALLEY HEAT TREAT COMPANY is a 60 year old family owned company, built on serving the aerospace industry and other specialized manufacturing markets. We are fully Nadcap accredited and work to a variety of customer, government, and military specifications.
We have an immediate opening to expand our team and help us meet the demands of a growing business. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required. The ideal candidates will be confident, motivated, and able to work well with others as well as independently to achieve the company's goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance of manufacturing equipment, furnaces, compressors, forklifts, etc.
Maintenance of metal racks, baskets, screens, etc.
Repair / rebuild brickwork inside furnaces
Check continuity and current draw of heating elements
Other maintenance / workflow duties assigned as needed
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
high school graduate or GED minimum, technical school a plus
and/or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Fork lift experience a plus
Knowledge of industrial electric systems a plus
Welding and/or metal fabrication experience a plus
Must be a US citizen and able to lift 50 lbs.
