Role Description
This full-time, on-site position located in Morgantown, WV, involves providing comprehensive nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining medical records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care. Additional duties include educating caregivers and families on health management and ensuring compliance with facility policies and procedures. Position is a full time, day shift role with rotating weekends.
Qualifications
- Practical nursing skills, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs
- Experience in maintaining accurate medical records and documenting patient care
- Strong communication skills for patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices or experience in mental health settings is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and provide compassionate patient care
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program and current LPN license in the state of West Virginia
- CPR certification and knowledge of healthcare regulations are preferred
