The Mammography Technologist provides high-quality breast imaging services in support of Valley Health's commitment to improving access to preventive care throughout the region. This role performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while delivering exceptional patient care in a variety of community-based healthcare settings. The Mammography Technologist works collaboratively with radiologists, providers, and support staff to ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate care for patients across the communities served by Valley Health.

Responsibiliti
- esPerform mammography examinations in accordance with established protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standard
- s.Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the imaging proces
- s.Obtain patient histories and verify appropriate orders and documentatio
- n.Maintain imaging equipment and quality assurance standards to meet accreditation and compliance requirement
- s.Educate patients regarding procedures and answer questions in a professional and compassionate manne
- r.Accurately document patient information and imaging data within the electronic medical record and PACS system
- s.Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnosis and follow-up car
- e.Assist with imaging operations, equipment readiness, and site preparation to ensure efficient patient care deliver
- y.Support Valley Health initiatives focused on increasing access to preventive healthcare service
s.Qualifications Requir
- edGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology progra
- m.ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT-M
- ).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification require
- d.Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skill
- s.Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient and operational need
s.Preferred Qualificatio
- nsPrevious mammography experienc
- e.Experience providing care in community outreach, ambulatory, or multi-site healthcare setting
