What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse position at Valley Health Care?
NATURE OF WORK: To oversee the day-to-day operations of all essential residential requirements in group homes for persons served who have a mental illness and/or substance abuse diagnosis. Assist the person’s served to acquire and use the skills and supports they need to be successful and satisfied in their living, social, vocational and educational environments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Current Active W.V. LPN License.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificate or ability to be trained.
- Six Months of Nursing experience.
- Ability to legally transport clients.
- Ability to comply with Client’s Rights.
- Ability to comply with Valley’s and Division departmental safety procedures.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
