Chief of staff
Lion Health System is a fast-growing multi-state healthcare organization acquiring and reopening hospitals. We are seeking a highly organized professional to directly support the President with executive workflow management, legal/regulatory coordination, and project tracking related to hospital acquisitions and licensing.
This role is ideal for a paralegal, legal assistant, or high-level executive assistant who excels at accuracy, deadlines, and managing complex documents and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Workflow & Schedule Management
- Own and prioritize the President’s calendar with strong judgment.
- Coordinate meetings with attorneys, regulators, consultants, and hospital leadership.
- Prepare agendas, background briefs, and required documents before each meeting.
- Send follow-up summaries and track action items.
Legal & Regulatory Coordination
- Support DHSS, CMS CHOW/855A, zoning/CUP, licensure, and compliance filings.
- Prepare exhibits, attachments, packets, and draft letters.
- Maintain strict version control for contracts and regulatory documents.
- Liaise with attorneys, regulators, and city/state agencies.
Project & Deal Tracking
- Track deadlines for hospital acquisitions and regulatory milestones.
- Maintain a master dashboard of next steps, dependencies, and risks.
- Follow up with directors, attorneys, and outside partners to ensure timely progress.
Communication & Document Management
- Manage inbox; draft and prepare communications.
- Organize documents and maintain clean digital filing systems.
- Summarize complex threads and documents into concise briefs.
Qualifications
- 3 years as a paralegal, legal assistant, legal project coordinator, or executive assistant with legal/regulatory experience.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational ability and attention to detail.
- Comfortable interacting with attorneys, regulators, and executives.
- Ability to manage sensitive information and exercise good judgment.
Preferred: Healthcare, hospital operations, real estate, or regulatory experience.

Compensation
- $80k–$105k base salary
