What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Outside Sales position at VALLEY FORD TRUCK INC?
Job Purpose:
- To generate revenue and increase market share by selling truck parts to new and existing customers. To provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Provide technical assistance and product information to customers.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotes.
- Negotiate pricing and terms of sale.
- Process orders and ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Qualifications:
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- Prior sales experience, preferably in the automotive or truck industry.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Knowledge of truck parts and their applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary : $77,000 - $110,000
