Responsibilities
- Supervise shop operations and manage a team of technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct quality control inspections on completed work to uphold service standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
- Assist in estimating project costs and managing contracts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and uphold safety protocols to guarantee a secure working environment for all employees.
- Liaise with customers to understand their service needs and provide timely updates on repair progress.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving shop operations and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, inventory, and employee hours.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the shop to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in diagnosing complex mechanical problems and provide guidance to technicians as needed.

Qualifications:
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within an automotive repair or maintenance shop.
- Proven track record of managing a team of technicians and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Experience with heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team of technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to the automotive industry.
