The Pricing Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing monthly pricing processes for dairy products, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with market conditions and contractual agreements. This role plays a critical part in executing pricing strategies, performing customer and product-level true-ups, and supporting profitability through detailed financial and market analysis within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
Monthly Pricing Management

• Execute monthly pricing updates for dairy products based on commodity markets (e.g., milk, butterfat, cheese, powder) and internal cost structures.
• Maintain and update pricing models that incorporate market indices, input costs, and contractual pricing formulas.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure timely and accurate pricing implementation.
• Configure and validate pricing conditions and master data in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring accurate pricing across customers and product hierarchies.
• Support pricing uploads, condition record maintenance, and validation within SAP.
True-Up & Reconciliation Processes
• Perform monthly and periodic pricing true-ups to reconcile estimated vs. actual costs and pricing components.
• Analyze discrepancies and process billing corrections or credit/debit adjustments in SAP S/4HANA.
• Partner with Accounting/Finance to ensure proper accruals, revenue recognition, and financial postings related to pricing adjustments.
• Track and document true-up activities with supporting SAP reports and audit trails.

SAP S/4HANA Pricing & System Management
• Maintain and troubleshoot SAP S/4HANA pricing conditions (SD module), including condition types, access sequences, and pricing procedures.
• Support integration between Sales & Distribution (SD) and Finance (FI) modules for accurate billing and reconciliation.
• Run and analyze SAP reports (e.g., pricing, margin, billing documents) to ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with system enhancements, testing, and implementation of pricing-related SAP changes.
• Ensure data governance and consistency of pricing master data within SAP.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Sales to explain pricing changes and support customer communications.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement to understand cost drivers.
• Coordinate with IT and SAP functional teams for system improvements and issue resolution.


Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities to streamline SAP pricing workflows and improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Enhance pricing tools, templates, and system functionality where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contract terms, and system controls.
 
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or cost analysis (food or dairy industry preferred).
• Hands-on experience working in SAP S/4HANA (SD module preferred).

Technical Skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, data modeling).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including pricing condition maintenance, reporting, and billing processes.
• Familiarity with SAP modules such as Sales & Distribution (SD) and Finance (FI).
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
 
Work Environment
• Office or hybrid work environment.
• May require extended hours during monthly pricing cycles or financial close periods.

Pay:  $68,000 - $84,000 a year*

* The salary range listed for this position represents the good faith and reasonable minimum and maximum pay for this role at the time of posting.  Actual compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, training, knowledge, education, and overall qualifications.  The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
