Valley Falls PSD is seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as General Manager. As the General Manager, you shall have the authority to perform all functions necessary to operate and maintain the waterworks system properly. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of our PSDs. This vital role ensures our operations run smoothly.
Requirements:
- The ability to manage and operate all parts of the waterworks systems with strong attention to detail
- The ability to assign and manage tasks for field and office employees
- Prepare and report monthly activities to the PSD boards
- Be willing to work overtime and be on call
- Provide and promote a healthy and positive work environment
Qualifications:
- Valid WVWD (Water Distribution) operator's license or above (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Be willing to subject to random drug and alcohol tests
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Basic knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
