Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Parts Manager to lead our parts department and customers with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities
- Answer phones and assist customers on their needs for parts.
- Take customers' parts order and create sales orders.
- Contact customer when parts arrive and coordinate pickup/delivery times.
- Manage parts inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking parts.
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules, maintaining strong supplier relationships for optimal sourcing.
- Oversee warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, storage, and inventory control to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Forklift operator/skills
- Collaborate closely with the service team to ensure consistent supply of quality parts for repairs and maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles within manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in supplier management, negotiation tactics, and sourcing strategies.
- Skilled in inventory management techniques including demand planning, inventory control, pricing strategies, and procurement processes.
- Excellent data entry skills along with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records across multiple platforms.
- Customer service oriented mindset with the ability to communicate effectively across departments and with external suppliers.
- Experience working within roles involving shipping & receiving logistics is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere focused on continuous improvement.
