Role Description The Front Office Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Scottsdale, AZ. This role is responsible for greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk experience. Daily tasks include answering and directing phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, verifying patient information, collecting copays, and assisting with insurance and registration paperwork. The Front Office Specialist coordinates patient flow with clinical staff, maintains accurate records in practice management systems, and follows established protocols for privacy and confidentiality. This position works closely with clinicians and support staff to provide courteous, timely, and organized front office support to patients and families.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Receptionist Duties skills for patient-facing front desk responsibilities.
- Candidates should possess effective Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for handling calls and interacting with patients and staff.
- Candidates should possess Appointment Scheduling skills and basic computer proficiency for managing calendars and electronic systems.
- Prior experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting is beneficial.
