This position supports the Purchasing and Planning Department and serves as a backup to the Traffic Clerk position.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with analyzing product demand and forecasts, adjusting inventory and purchasing plans accordingly
- Enter purchase orders, update pricing, and other tasks within the business system as directed by others in the Department
- Assist the Planners with implementation of the cycle counting program
- Maintain and analyze inventory records and reports
- Investigates discrepancies to resolve inventory issues
- Release work orders to the Production team
- Serves as a backup to the Traffic Clerk
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Inventory principles and concepts
- Moderate to strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Communication skills – listening and team building
- Strong customer focus with ability to effectively interact primarily with internal customers
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Problem solving/analysis
- Purchasing principles and concepts
- Knowledge of products
- Business system software
- Office system software – word processing, spreadsheets

Experience/Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry level, however related experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of Epicor business system is a plus ?
Salary : $19 - $22
