Toddler Educator

VCP Children’s Center in Bradford, VT is hiring a Toddler Teacher. We are looking for someone who is fun, energetic, and enjoys working with children. The right candidate would be responsible for planning and implementing curriculum, providing a nurturing and engaging environment, supervising assistant teachers, and some cleaning duties. We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Toddler Educator to join our early childhood education program. This is a full-time position working with toddlers in a nurturing, play-based learning environment. Position Responsibilities: Provide attentive care and supervision for infants and toddlers Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning, and developmental activities Assist with diapering, toileting, and other personal care routines Support children during meals and snacks Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Assist with daily classroom routines, transitions, and activities Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers Complete light cleaning and sanitizing duties as needed Design and implement curriculum and classroom goals Preferred Qualifications High school graduate Two or more years of experience working with children from birth through grade 3 Current CPR and First Aid certification Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependable, patient, and nurturing demeanor What We Offer Full-time schedule: up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional development and career growth The chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families Compensation based on education and experience $19-$21/hour If you are dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for young children, we encourage you to apply today! Compensation is determined by the district’s collective bargaining agreement, which considers factors such as degree level and years of service.
