Job Summary
Competently performs a variety of standard, specialty and complex diagnostic radiographic procedures with clinical and technical accuracy. Responsibly administering ionizing radiation using fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography (including the use of mobile c-arm and x-ray equipment) to achieve good quality studies under a variety of conditions with little or no supervision. Demonstrates sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiation physics and image production. Demonstrates appropriate use of ALARA - minimal technique parameters, collimation and correctly positions patients. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care. This position requires a high level of schedule flexibility to meet the demands of a busy Radiology department.

Qualifications
Education
- College Degree - 2 year Radiology (required)
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)
- Program Graduate of formal program in Radiologic Technology (required)
- College Degree - 4 year (preferred)
- BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required)
- CRT - California Radiologic Technologist License - CDPH - California Department of Public Health (required)
- RHF - Rad Tech/Fluoroscopy License - CDPH - California Department of Public Health within six (6) months of hire or transfer into position (required)
- RT-R - Rad Tech Radiography - ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (preferred)
- Minimum six (6) months Experience in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
- Pediatric experience (preferred)
- Bilingual Skills Preferred.
