What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Assistant position at Valley Child Care?
Job Summary
We are looking for teachers and assistant teachers for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years at our Day Care Centers in South Buffalo. Our centers have a wonderful family like atmosphere and we love educating the leaders of tomorrow.
Applicants must be 18 and have experience caring for young children. Degree and experience is preferred but is not necessary.
Job duties include but are not limited to: Helping to take care of the children's needs, Snack/meal prep, serve and clean up, light cleaning duty (i. e. garbage, sweep, mop), closing duties, communication with the parents and staff, doing art projects, singing songs, going outside. Strong interaction skills necessary.
We are mainly looking for individuals for our M-F noon-5:30 shift. There is potential for more hours based on qualifications, or if you fulfill the qualifications for a lead teacher position.
Compensation based on education and experience.
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
