Responsibilities: * Organize the Girls' Varsity Field Hockey program. * Supervise & organize practice sessions and home contests. * Provide for supervision of athletes during all athletic trips. * Enforce all rules pertaining to participation in the program. * Care for and inventory all equipment charged to the program. * Perform other related duties as assigned by the athletic director. Qualifications: * Knowledge of all phases of the sport. * Ability to teach the fundamentals and skills of the sport. * Ability to work effectively with teenagers. * Knowledge and understanding of all state, section, league, district and school rules as they apply to the participation in the sport. * Knowledge of emergency first aid and training procedures and the ability to recognize and handle those injuries common to the sport.
