Server DAYS - Wadsworth

Valley Cafe Wadsworth is seeking a part time (2 to 3 shifts per week, 12-20 hours), friendly and professional server for our fast paced, high volume breakfast and lunch restaurant. As such, Saturdays and Sundays are our peak days and availability for both days are required. We are open 7 days a week.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be available Saturdays AND Sundays, no exceptions. Please do not apply if you can not work both Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must be 21 or older
• Must be available 6:30am to 4pm
• 6 months or more of table serving experience is required
• Positive, friendly and professional
• Reliable
• Ability to work in high volume, fast paced environment
• Ability to stand on feet for 8 hours at a time
• Ability to walk stairs and carry 50 pounds
• Must have an excellent customer service and hospitality attitude
• 2-3 shifts per week
• Must be available at 6:30am

Responsibilities

• Memorize our menu to ensure best possible guest experience.
• Learn and follow all of our operating procedures to ensure a smooth running restaurant focused on the best guest experience.
• Utilize Toast Hand Held POS systems table side to accurately input guest orders.
• Provide exceptional hospitality by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure food safety standards are upheld throughout the serving process.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the dining experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold sanitation standards.
• Work from Valley Cafe's Core Values to ensure we are meeting our goal of making, "Happy Customers Who Return With Friends.
