What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custom Fabricator Production Associate position at Valley Cabinet Inc?
Counter-Form LLC is looking for a Custom Fabricator – Square Edge!!
Starting at $20 /hr based on experience!
Production Schedule: Starting at 6:30 AM

What will you do:
- Review daily production schedules and prioritize fabrication work
- Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and technical drawings
- Cut and prepare core materials using table saws, panel saws, and other equipment
- Build and assemble custom countertops, including edge build-ups and specialty components
- Apply edge banding using proper heating, adhesion, and alignment techniques
- Perform laminate application, trimming, routing, and finishing processes
- Use pinch rollers, sanding, filing, and detailing tools to ensure a high-quality finish
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and completeness
- Label and stage completed products for the next phase of production or shipping
- Coordinate with saw, CNC, and other departments to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Support team members and contribute to process improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you need:
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or woodworking environments (1–3 years preferred)
- Ability to read tape measures, work orders, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience using hand and power tools (routers, saws, sanders, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines
- Solid understanding of material handling and fabrication processes
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving ability
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE
Preferred:
- Experience with laminate application and countertop fabrication
- Familiarity with CNC or panel saw operations
- Background in cabinetry, woodworking, or blueprint reading
