Job Title: Cabinet Installer

Position Summary: Provide the highest level of installation standards while maintaining a professional attitude with the utmost respect for the customer’s property.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete cabinet installation from start to finish with confidence in accordance with Valley Cabinet’s standard operating procedures
Read and interpret shop drawings and paperwork
Load and unload trucks
Travel to job sites and install various size cabinetry fixtures, moldings, and hardware using carpentry tools and wood working machines
Measure and mark for product installation
Trim, cut, fill, seal, and level during installation
Perform various hanging, adjusting, and fastening tasks to complete installation work
Carrying and raise cabinets and materials, overhead or floor level work.
Safely operate various pieces of equipment and tools
Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two to three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position including, but not be limited to the following:
Sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
Moving, bending, standing, kneeling, lifting and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds.
Pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, pinching, fine motor dexterity.
Work for extended periods of time at a workstation on a computer or similar device.
Exposure to high noise levels and requires wearing hearing protection in designated areas.
Exposure to plant environment to include moving parts, fumes, dust. Safety glasses to be worn at all times.
